Sport. Science. Skills for Life.
Professional coaching programs that go beyond the game — teaching children the science behind movement, nutrition and healthy habits while they develop real athletic skills.
More Than Just Sport
Every Bullseye school program combines elite coaching with age-appropriate sports science education. Children don't just get fitter — they leave each session understanding their body better, making smarter choices about food and recovery, and building genuine confidence through skill development.

Junior Track & Field
Making athletics exciting and accessible for younger students
Foundation – Year 3A high-energy athletics program built around games, experimentation and movement. Younger students discover the joy of running, jumping and throwing through fun challenges — while picking up real technique and learning why their body works the way it does.
Activities
- Sprinting and running technique
- Relay racing and baton exchange
- Hurdles and agility challenges
- Long jump fundamentals
- Modified shot put, discus and javelin
- Reaction games and coordination activities
- Fun athletic challenges and team events
Sports Science Moments
- Why do we swing our arms when we run?
- What muscles help us jump higher?
- Why does warming up matter before sport?
Senior Track & Field
Technical athletics coaching for students ready to perform
Year 4 – Year 6A performance-focused athletics program covering the full range of track and field disciplines. Students develop real technique across sprints, hurdles, jumps and throwing events — shot put, discus and javelin — while exploring the science that drives athletic performance. The focus is always on personal improvement, not just being the fastest.
Activities
- Sprint mechanics, acceleration and starting technique
- Hurdles and relay changeovers
- Distance running, pacing and endurance
- Long jump technique and approach run
- Shot put, discus and javelin technique
- Athletic testing and personal challenges
Sports Science Moments
- Stride length, frequency and power production
- Muscle groups, energy systems and recovery
- Hydration and performance nutrition for athletes
Soccer
Confident, intelligent team players with real technical ability
Foundation – Year 6A skill-based soccer program that develops technical ability alongside game intelligence. Students work through ball control, passing, shooting and decision-making — then apply everything in small-sided games. Sports science moments explore reaction time, coordination, endurance and how carbohydrates fuel sport.
Activities
- Ball control and first touch
- Passing, dribbling and shooting
- Movement into space and defending
- Decision-making and communication
- Small-sided games and team tactics
Sports Science Moments
- Reaction time, coordination and agility

- How carbohydrates fuel sport performance
Touch Rugby
Teamwork, agility and fast decision-making in every session
Year 1 – Year 6A fast-moving program built around teamwork, agility and smart play. Students develop passing, evasion, support play and defensive positioning through high-energy drills and games. Sports science discussions cover changing direction, balance, acceleration and energy expenditure.
Activities
- Passing technique and catching
- Running lines and evasion
- Defensive positioning and communication
- Support play and leadership

Netball
Confidence, technical skill and teamwork on the court
Foundation – Year 6A structured netball program focused on technical development and team play. Students work through passing, footwork, shooting and court positioning — building confidence through progressive skill development. Sessions introduce balance, coordination, jumping mechanics and the muscles involved in throwing and shooting.
Activities
- Passing, catching and footwork rules
- Shooting technique and goal circle play
- Defending, leading into space and positioning
- Communication and modified games
Sports Science Moments
- Balance, coordination and jumping mechanics
- Reaction speed and the muscles used in throwing
- Calcium, bone health and why they matter for sport
Swimming
Movement, fitness and aquatic skill development
Foundation – Year 6A professionally presented swimming program focused on stroke development, fitness and aquatic confidence. Sessions may incorporate stroke technique, swimming fitness, starts and turns, relay activities and water-based games — subject to the school's pool facilities, risk assessment and agreed supervision arrangements.
Activities
- Stroke development and technique
- Swimming fitness and endurance
- Starts, turns and relay activities
- Water-based games and coordination
Sports Science Moments
- Breathing technique and cardiovascular fitness

- Hydration — why we still need water when swimming
The Bullseye Session
How Every Session Is Structured
Warm Up & Movement Preparation
Dynamic movement designed to prepare the body for activity — and a quick discussion about why warm-ups prevent injury.
Skill Development
Professional coaching focused on the day's sport and technical skill, broken into clear, progressive stages.
Sports Science Moment
A short interactive discussion or experiment explaining how or why the skill works — the 'why' behind the movement.
Practice & Challenge
Students apply what they've learned through drills, challenges and competitive games.
Healthy Habits
Short conversations around hydration, recovery, nutrition or healthy lifestyle choices relevant to the day's activity.
Game & Application
Students finish by applying their skills in an engaging game or sporting challenge — putting it all together.
Reflection
Celebrate improvement, teamwork, effort and what students discovered during the session.
"We want children to leave each session knowing something new about their sport, their body and themselves."
Sports Science Made Fun
Learning the Science Behind Sport
Bullseye introduces sports science in ways children can actually understand — not as a classroom lesson, but as natural discoveries that happen during sport and movement.
Muscles
Which muscles are helping us sprint, jump, throw or kick?
Movement
Why does changing our body position affect speed and power?
Energy
Why do some activities make us tired faster than others?
Recovery
Why do athletes need rest, sleep and recovery?
Hydration
Why does our body need water when we're exercising?
Nutrition
How can different foods help fuel an active body?
Experimentation
Can students change their technique and actually feel or measure the difference?
Throwing Events — Shot Put, Discus & Javelin
Both our Junior and Senior Track & Field programs include throwing events — shot put, discus and javelin. Students learn proper technique, safe release mechanics and the physics of projectile motion. It's one of the most exciting moments in every athletics session.
